Surfing, stand up paddle, kitesurf
In Sables d’Olonne: on the Grande Plage, the plage des Présidents and on the beaches of Aubraie, Sauveterre, des Granges.
Many surf schools are available: Ohana Foil, Bahia Surf Shop, Twin Fin, Octopus Glisse, Ohana surf… Ask at the campsite! We will be happy to help you discover them.
Surfing can also be practiced on the beach of Veillon in Talmont St Hilaire or that of the mine in Jard sur Mer.
If you wish to start or improve your surfing skills, you can contact the French Surf School “Vendée Surf Schools” for courses at all levels:

Sailing schools
Numerous sailing schools based in Les Sables d’Olonne offer courses and training courses in catamaran, dinghy, windsurfing… It’s up to you to choose your favorite activity!
In Port Bourgenay :
- Optimist courses from 7 to 12 years old from 3 to 5 days for all levels
- catamaran courses from 3 to 5 days, from 13 years old for all levels
In Le Bouil (Longeville sur Mer) : sailing school, foil, paddle, surf…
Scuba diving
3 diving clubs are at your disposal to explore the underwater world of Les Sables d’Olonne
Jet ski, water scooter, banana boat and towed buoy
The nautical bases dedicated to the renting are located on the Ponton Vendée Globe – Port Olona in Les Sables d’Olonne !
You will also find a rental base located in Port Bourgenay and another one in Jard sur mer on the port!
Canoeing and kayaking
In the marshes of Olonne sur mer or in the open sea, discover these outdoor activities!
On the beach of Veillon : discover the Payré estuary and its treasures by canoe
You can also discover a part of the Marais Poitevin in canoe or paddle from the base of the Grenouillère at only 30mn from the campsite ! A real relaxing day with family or friends to explore the canals and rediscover the flora
Walking and fishing in the sea
From Port Bourgenay: starting points for guided sea tours of the Payré estuary. Possibility of fishing at sea by professionals.

From Jard sur Mer: board a semi-rigid boat for a guided or commented trip to Les Sables d’Olonne or to the Ile de Ré… A great discovery to make with family or friends!
From Les Sables d’Olonne: many possibilities
Outings on a sailboat, sea fishing with a professional and a commented walk with discovery of the Chaume and the Sablaise coast.
